Hey beauties... I always hear from here and there that girls love dominant nature on men and women like to be submissive.( not strongly i know)
Believe me i and many guys absolutely no idea about this and hence many guys behave like dogs in front of women thinking that she will be attracted or like me if i do anything she wants.
But i noted and observed that it isn't the case. 
Majority of Such assertive nice guys are always friendzoned and he keeps thinking " sh! t i love her so much and i behave so nice with her & do whatever she likes but why the hell she just think of me as a friend?"
Also i note that many innocent nice guys are been cheated around the globe by many women.
I see lot of aggressive kind of guys scoring with chicks. I see they abuse her, degrade her , pick lot of fights , drag her to bed for sex at his will but still after break up those girl say " i don't know...i still want him and expect him to come back" 
And our faces are like (°_°) (0_o) (•_•)(-_-)
And i say to my friend " look how fool we are, it's a complete myth that we have to be super nice to a girl to win her..being bad to a girl at some aspect is doing some mysterious work. There is something indeed in bad kinda guys that we lack completely"
So should we guys make women feel submissive? How should we dominate a relationship? How should we dominate a woman?

Dominant means he leads the relationship. Leads the interaction.
He adjusts my behavior to his needs and he isn't hesitant to do so. He isn't afraid to shut me up, correct me, say what he thinks, own what he does. He isn't afraid to pull my hand, to have me follow him, or grab me when I get emotional and try to walk out on him. He doesn't get emotional when he commands blackmailing, or throwing tantrums, he does it rationally, coldly (I don't mean stoically) and uncompromisingly.
A dominant man is responsible. He holds the girl he is with like a drop of water on his palm. Wants to protect her. He always prepares, plans and provides security for the woman by his side. He does what he thinks is right, does it consistently and conscientiously. He is clear, direct in expression about what he wants from the woman and about what he is going to do himself. Then he follows up on that.
With him there is little ambiguity in anything he says or does.He doesn't shy away from confrontation, he embraces it as just another part of human interaction. He expresses his thoughts and emotion in them, he doesn't sound like a petrified robot. He isn't scared of people. He doesn't need her approval before everything he does, even though he may ask what she thinks. She is the one who needs his approval if something is questionable about what she does, even though she may voice her displeasure with his decision.
A dominant man can't be nagged on the other hand. There is a reasonable limit to what a woman can say, but nagging for example is a form of control exerted by women. He would cut that down in the bud.
A dominant man doesn't wait to be asked out, he asks out. He doesn't need to read a woman's mind, he refuses her irrationality. He doesn't need her opinion, though he may want to it he respects her.

And he tries his best, no one is perfect, he must make mistakes.But when he does make a mistake, he doesn't surrender his authority, he asks for forgiveness and works to fix it.

It's nice when a guy is nice when you're just getting to know each other. Once he has gained your trust and she can see that he wants more than just a physical relationship, it goes into the grey area. At this point the guy should either see he can make a move and start getting more dominant, or like with me the girl can make the next move and show him she's down.

Once a relationship, whether it be official or friends with benefits is established, I love it when my guy is dominant occasionally. By that I mean things like teasing you but not giving you the D till you practically beg for it, saying he really wants to fuck you, etc.. Here's an example that I wrote about to answer another question earlier:

My boyfriend invited me over for dinner with his family, after which we planned to watch a movie together and get intimate as everyone was supposed to be leaving the house shortly after. Throughout dinner, he kept putting his hand on my thigh and rubbing up and down. When I say that I like a dominant male, I mean that:
1) He leads the relationship... Most men confuse this with an abusive relationship or a douche, but that's not it. Taking lead means that he tells how the relationship is, how he wants it, what he wants to do, etc.
2) He takes the lead in bed most of the time ( Most of the time ;) )
3) He isn't afraid to grab me by the waist and let people know I'm his girl
4) He enjoys being a little aggressive; joking around, lightly slapping each other playfully, teasing each other, etc.

The #1 problem with "Nice guys" is that they think girls like douche bags, but it's really not that. There's a difference between a completely ignorant douche and a guy who has confidence in himself.
And the other problem "Nice guys" have is that they think they are being rejected simply because they're nice. There's millions of girls out there who prefer a cute and nice guy who can be a pushover (Not something that's bad, I honestly like a little pushover).

You can be dominant and still respectful.

Let me give you an example - the girl says "Where should we go for dinner tonight?"

The submissive guy says "I don't care. You pick."

The dominant but respectful guy "I was reading about this new Thai place, and I booked us a table. It'll be great, trust me."

I think you're confusing dominant with abusive. They are not the same.

You can be nice and dominant at the same time, they're not mutually exclusive.
To answer your question what do we mean

In the relationship:
- Someone who can stand his ground. If he doesn't want to do something, I want him to tell me. Don't agree with everything I say. But obviously he still has to be able to compromise sometimes
-Take charge in organising dates and nights out sometimes. Or even just ask to go for a walk when the weather is nice
-Say what you want from the relationship and what you don't want. But do it respectfully
- In general treat people, especially me and my family and friends with respect. Don't be a dick to anyone
- tell me what to do when I don't know what to do
- when we've been together for a while, consider me in decisions you make
- that being said, don't expect too much too soon, it takes time to trust. Take things slow, a lot of girls will have their guards up in the beginning of the relationship

Physically:
- In the bedroom I like him to be dominant, that's a whole different topic though
- when I'm upset or sad, pull me in and hug me tightly and say it's going to be alright
- lift me up when kissing an grab me firmly
- when we're somewhere crowded or strange let me hold onto his arm and let him lead the way

I don't understand how so many men have this stupid mentality! It's pretty simple, girls like confident, outgoing men that are in control of their lives, that aren't afraid to take risks, that are sure of themselves, that have standards in both the physical and personality point of view, and aren't so freakin paranoid about 'being nice' or 'being what women want' or 'OMG if I do this she'll freak out' or 'OMG I can't say that it'll scare her away'. I really don't like or expect a guy to be dominate At all in a relationship with me except physically (like picking me up or being stronger , that's hot) but everything else should be equal. I don't like guys to "take control"of every single situation.
