Is boyfriend a wimp for getting beaten up by a girl?

At a recent party, he ran into his crazy ex and things got pretty heated up. She kept hitting him so he gave her a slap, and she grabbed him by the shoulders and kicked him in the nuts. It wasn't even that hard, and I've seen him take worse hits while playing sports, but he screamed like a bitch and cried, spending the rest of the night sulking with an ice pack between his legs.
Does this happen to all guys? Or is he just a wimp

I've been beaten by girls but these gals were master fighters like brown and black belt holding women with insane power. So at least I lost fighting a strong opponent your man not so much keep in mind though there is no man alive that can withstand getting kicked in the balls. The pain it brings will bring tears to even the strongest men he should have however at least fought back there is mo exuse for not standing up for your self I wad nailed in the balls once and fought 2-3 more intense fights.
