I met this guy a while ago, and we've been talking and seeing each other. I really like him. He said he wanted us to go to the gym together.
So I mentioned this to my friend and he said "Oh so you guys are going to the gym now, it's getting pretty serious"
And it got me thinking, Does going to the gym with a girl something special? Like does it have a meaning? Does it mean he likes me? I mean I don't know what do you guys think?

ps. he's not really the perverted type of guy, so i dont think its just to stare while I work out. He's actually really sweet and kind at heart

I would say its getting pretty serious. Usually guys don't invite girls to go to gym with them unless they are pretty serious about them. Gym is a serious place and if i hv to pick a girl for my gym , it would be my girlfriend only. Remeber- couples who train together, stay together.

It's doesn't necessarily have to mean anything. I sometimes go to the gym with women even if I'm not dating them or trying to sleep with them. It's just one of those things that's more enjoyable with other people there.

Well, going to the gym is not only for his health benefits but it seems to be something he enjoys.
It's not really a hang out (date wise)...but it's something to do together.

Lifestyle choices are usually better choices for each other. The fact that he goes to the gym is good and the fact that you are inevitable to a gym is also a good sign.

I mean think about this... drugs and alcohol seems to be a common choice in a lot of failed relationships. Those are not positive things though. At least it is positive. Give it a fucking chance and you might end up happy.

That is a very serious move. Most of the time, guys do not invite someone they think will hold back their workouts. So if he is inviting you to the gym, he sees a future with you and wants you to value your health.
