i've had some friends with benefits who enjoy their cuddles after sex, it's normal, he might just genuinely enjoy cuddling/snuggling afterwards.
if you feel like it's too much for you, and too much pressure on your current relationship with him, then explain that to him. explain how it may make you feel strange after sex to cuddle.
but in all honesty, don't read into it too much.
guys will fuck the shit out of you and could still cuddle you without any further intentions of a proper bf/gf relationship.

I don't have any personal experience to give you an answer, but as a guy, it seems like he is getting a bit attached. Usually guys will think of a woman whenever they orgasm, and this thought is almost like a "tribute" to the woman. Weird, but true. Anyways, after sex, couples will cuddle as kind of a bonding thing. Having sex then falling asleep in your partner's arms. If I were you, I would ask him if he is getting attached, then ask him to not do that anymore
