I heard a saying that the prettiest girls are the most lonely, because all the guys are too scared to go talk to them... Is this true? Partially true?

I think that's true. When you're attractive, guys only tend to just look, and not really take any action because they think you're out of their league and don't want to be shot down. It's like we're not the girlfriend type or something

And when it comes to friends, a lot of times girls will be friends with you solely based on the way you look because they know that you attract the guys. In reality they're just using you, and are jealous.

Basically, at the end of the day, you only have yourself.

But I don't think that good looks are a curse, I think that they're a blessing and I'm very greatful for them. I'm not trying to say 'oh poor me I'm lonely because I'm attractive' or anything, I'm just saying how it is for me, and how I perceive it.

Partially true... attractive people (guys too) get more "shallow" attention like being stared at on the street or whatever, but it's more difficult to build real friendships/relationships because there are so many negative stereotypes that go along with being good-looking. "Oh, she must be a bitch, he must be a player, blah blah." Sometimes I feel like only the really arrogant guys with no conscience are the only ones who will walk right up to a pretty girl, so a lot of pretty girls feel like they can only attract jerky guys. Which totally sucks.

I think it's that guys are too scared to commit. Beauty is a curse most times...and guys tend to stay away from the girl that all other guys may want. More of a chance of him being hurt by her leaving for another man, well in guys minds that's what some think will happen.

Well I don't think beauty is a curse because guys hit on pretty girls like 24/7 and being beautiful makes them see that they have it good ! So they will not go cheating

"too scared to commit" is so overused that the phrase has no inherent meaning.

never assume that a guy's "scared to commit" simply because he doesn't want to commit to a particular girl at a particular time.

Partly true, yes. In my experience, the hotter a woman the likelihood of her being a psycho increase dramatically. And spoiled psychos are often more lonesome because they've left a trail of broken hearts and crushed souls behind them as a warning sign.

No, I don't think this is true at all. All the pretty girls I know of in my area are living happy and fulfilling lives. They have tons of guys hanging all over them. I am unattractive and alone.
