So I asked my boyfriend if he thinks I'm boring and he kept asking why am I asking that. I told him it was just a thought and was just wondering if I am and also that I don't want him to feel bored and I just want to see him happy. He never answered my question and at the end, I told him to forget it. He said he wasn't going to forget it and seemed bothered and even a little distant every since I asked. I asked him if he's bothered by the question and he said no. I can tell he's being distant and annoyed but states he's fine. I guess what really is bothering me is that he didn't answer me and now I'm beginning to really believe that he is getting bored with me... what do you think? by the way we've been together for over 4 years and moving in together in a few weeks

in fact, most guys will grow silent & distant when confronted by the mind boggling female thoughts allowed to fly... He speaks Mars, you are talking Venus.

Solution: worries only make things worse or insures their demise... try to drown these in the future, esp. with this guy until he matures & figures you out, as to what is serious & what is worry
Work on issues like this ONLY as they arise... plenty of solutions out there!

There's big screws & little ones... this should be a little one, except he's so quiet... so he already had concerns (as you have) about this move, just different ones he's not aired (as you did) = now he adds this one to his own. That's all and should be easy to fix/hurtle. IF you can communicate still, try to arrange a tets-a-tets to "work out some minor details about the move" and make the tone informal and matter of fact. IF any emotional concerns/doubts arise, ask these to be tabled until the meeting. At the meeting - a venue best for conversation - get HIM to talk first about his concerns, then you can downgrade your "boring" concern to be less of a burden on him.

You're showing him you're not confident in yourself and it is also stressing him out because your insecurities are in your head, and he's just trying to come up with what to say. Its fine to talk about this stuff if there is some concrete evidence, but you are just feeling insecure, poking and prodding for reassurance, and it's just causing unnecessary tension. Don't do this.

This is why it's better to not ask questions like this, it just makes things uncomfortable. He wouldn't be with you if he thought you were boring and If you're worried that you're boring then just try to be more interesting. Take part in things that he enjoys.
