My crush liked my pic on Instagram for tbh, rate, and date, now he won't respond. Why?

I know it's late but I answered it 10 minutes after he liked the post. This is what I wrote,
"Rate: 10 TBH: I don't know you all that well, but you're cute, I don't see why you're self conscious, you have no reason to be whatsoever. Date: Probably.
He didn't respond back, I commented on his pic, everyone could see it. I don't get it did I screw something up? The reason I added the: "self conscious" part was because he's always asking for me & others input on how he looks, what they think of him etc.

You shouldn't take it too serious because it's just a post, i'm assuming it's FB. He liked it and just wanted an answer so that it could make his timeline look good with girls rating him a 10.

He may also have just shit his pants out of nervousness and is waiting till he is of a cooler mind to answer. That also happens sometimes.

He finally came up to me today and thanked me in person & we talked for a bit, I think he may have been nervous, but i don't see why he would be.
