I'm really confused with my crush's behavior. Is he playing mind games with me? I need your opinion please!?

So I met this guy almost two months ago. Since the very first time we met he flirted with me a lot and after two dates he kissed me. He seemed really really into me and I liked him also but then after 5-6 dates he told me ALL OF A SUDDEN that he prefers to stay friends (and when I'm saying all of a sudden I mean that one moment he was all over me and the next moment he became cold and distant without even telling me why). I tried to forget him but then after almost a week since the last time I saw him he started sending me these super sweet messages on my cell phone ( he even texted me at 4am), talking to me WHENEVER I was online on Facebook and kept asking me out again. So one day I decided to meet him again. He invited me to his house where we watched a movie and he didn't miss any opportunity to touch me, he cuddled with me on the sofa, held and rubbed my hand, kissed me on the face, tickled and played with me, even put his arm around my waist. I have many guy friends but none of them is sooo touchy. I'm so so confused: does he want me back or is he playing games with me?

I had a boy do almost the exact same thing to me about 2 years ago, and while it's nice to believe that he's gone back to the way he was acting before, its very likely that its just that. He's acting. It could honestly be that he was talking/seeing another girl while you two were 'just friends' and when they didn't work he wanted to know if you would take him back. My best advice is, be on your guard. Don't allow him to get so close to you so easily. If he truly likes you he will put more effort and time into becoming close with you again.

I feel i'm used as an ego boost. The thing is he is 33 years old. Could a 33 year old man have such a childish behavior and play so bad with me?

33 years old definitely sends up red flags! More of which go up depending on how much of an age difference there is between you two. It's very likely that he's playing the field or exploring his options since he jumped so quickly from hot to cold. When the guy i was seeing did this to me, we were both only 18, so i think the behavior is definitely childish for a full grown man.

I mean, it's definitely an ego boost when a guy scores a younger woman, (10 year age gap means you're in your early 20's which is pretty much the ideal 'hot girl' age). The idea that he uses you to feel better about himself honestly isn't too unlikely. You can stick with him to see how his behavior continues, but i do suggest a bit of caution. Most men that age shouldn't be interested in playing mind games. There also was that period of time where he made no effort to contact you, you should consider what he could have been doing during that time.

He s playing games with you because he wants to be friends with you and he told you that and if he is not acting like one then he should of thought of it before saying it. Ignore him for a while and show him that you won't be there whenever he feels like it. Maybe now he wants you back and then he goes on being friends again.

yes i get you... my situation is almost similar to this but am just not talking to him now until he gets his things straight and if not then i have to deal with it.
