Does she still think of me?

My girlfriend and I of 2 1/2 years broke up 2 months ago. Wasn't a bad break-up necessarily, but the last conversation we had she said she'd be happy if she never talked to me again in her lifetime. I did nothing wrong, we just grew apart. It eats me alive everyday, do you think that she still thinks of me ever? I was her first love.

I agree with meplusabeemer, we never forget our first love, our first ANYTHING for that matter of fact. I think that she still does think of you because the breakup is fresh and it was a long-term relationship. You can't just forget something like that overnight. She probably said such a harsh thing to you so you would keep away. If you keep coming back and talking to her (at least right now) the whole situation is going to hurt her even more. Considering the fact that you did nothing wrong, that's probably why she said that. You two loved each other, and she probably thinks about you as much as you do so about her. I can't say whether or not she will come back. I'm sure if you tried talking to her, telling her that you need her in your life (which it seems to me you do) she may come around. If you do wanna get back together with her just wait and take it slow, yes it will be hard work, but I'm sure it will be worth it for you.

I will just about guarantee that she has thought of you, especially since you were her first love. First loves tend to take the longest to get over and that type of love seems to be very prolific and profound. I think her statement about being happy about never speaking to you again was out of anger. I know you said it wasn't a bad break up however breaking up isn't easy and it's painful. I think the statement was the result of high emotions.

I don't think we ever forget our first love. Despite what she said and how it ended, she will always remember you and you will always be a part of her heart.

She proberly does but just wants to move on, maybe you should find another girl to help you move on ; )
