I've never been approached by a guy; am I ugly?

Usually I just shake things like this off, but it's been bugging me a lot lately. I'm in my sophomore year in high school and all of my friends either have boyfriends or have a few flirty friends I don't doubt will become something more. And then there's me, the single pringle. I'm generally pretty introverted and quiet, and I play a lot of video games. I'm a pretty studious person and I keep to myself and out of drama. I'm definitely not one of the popular girls, but I'm not in the outcast crowd either. I dress nicely as often as I can but I'm a fan of the oversized sweater (because they're hella cute /and/ hella comfy) I'm 5'6", pretty thin (110lbs?), and I keep in shape so I'm not 'stick-thin'. I don't think my face is that attractive, but I don't think it's necessarily ugly either - maybe just average. My nose is kind of long and it has a bump on the bridge and my mouth is very small, my lips very thin. I have big eyes, I'm talking disney princess here, and high cheekbones, which are the only two features I really like about me face. I have long brown hair and grey eyes. I just want to know if I have an unattractive personality or if I am aesthetically unattractive.

My girlfriend of two years to the day was very shy in middle school as well. I'm an obnoxious ass hockey player but her coyness turned me on. I am the only boy to ever take interest in her, but I love her very much and we have a better relationship now then ever before. My point is don't sweat it, it probably isn't quite your time yet. And if you want a boyfriend go for someone with similar interests.

I have a girl in my lab group who is twenty three, very cute, and is a huge gammer. She was bragging to me about a new mechanical key board and a bunch of other shit I dint understand and she told me a story very similar too you. She was kind of an outcast but she's now engaged to a guy who plays world of Warcraft with her. So don't change who you are, and know that there is someone out there. She thought she was ugly in high school too so didn't have many friends but, as a hockey playing asshole, she's pretty fucking hot.

In my opinion I would say that it is more related to your personality. Not that it is unattractive but simply that it has a side effect of not finding a significant other as rapidly as your friends. I don't really have any suggestions as I'm fairly similar mentally to how you described yourself but I do doubt that you're unattractive, especially if your description was accurate.
