Long conversations with FWB?

We've been seeing eachtother for 6 months now. He usually initiates it and we never talked about where we stand, but I'm just going to call fwb.

Don't get me wrong, he can sometimes be rude, and sometimes I act like b**** lol. But he usually initiates the hang outs (usually once a week), and sometimes he asks me to text him first. But when he usually comes over, we like to have a smoke and talk for a while before before "getting down to it".

Like the other week he forgot something at my place, and earlier this week he asked if he could come pick it up.

So I saw him last night thinking I was just going to meet him outside in his car, but he said no and asked if we could smoke and hang out for a while before hooking up. So we started talking a lot about things, even about boyfriends and girlfriends a little (like about cheating and stuff).

He asked me what my schedule is like for next week and he told me to text him next, which I rarely do.
How long should I wait? Do these long conversation mean anything?

It's hard to say.
Friends with benefits means FRIENDS with benefits... hanging out and talking about previous relationships is the friend part, the sex is the benefit part.
So it's hard to tell.
If you want to be in a relationship, or want to be exclusive, tell him that.
Or you can ask if he's seeing anyone else.
It's been 6 months, that's plenty of time to know if you want to be with someone or just stay FWB.
