Why did he freeze when I hugged him?

if a guy freezes when you touch him does that mean he doesn't like you? i tried to hug my brother's BFF and he froze and his face went blank.. he has a girlfriend but i didn't think i was doing anything wrong. is he repulsed by me? i don't understand, i thought we might be friends too. he was being really nice to me and i hugged him. please explain!

He has a girlfriend, maybe he just felt uncomfortable. Some people feel nervous being close with the opposite sex when they're already in a relationship. You guys are young, this doesn't surprise me too much.
