Why did he hug me for so long?

I was out with my friends at a bar when all of a sudden I see the guy I used to have a little thing with and was a good friend. We hadn’t been in contact for about two months, and when he saw me he walked straight up to me and wrapped his arms around me. He held me for about ten second while squeezing gently. When we pulled apart, he held my hand and was rubbing my hand with his fingers while holding it, and he introduced me to his best friend (who based on his reaction to hearing my name knew who I was), are his feelings still there?

How about we think about this from "a little thing with" of friends with benefits: -3 days is usually long enough for guys but 2 months and cross-eyed sets in. -My experience, best friend knowing about my thing usually means he knows about Bedroom Skill Set... especially going to a place where she may be located. I'm sure he knew who you were. This never changes as we NEVER mature out of it ;-) -Am not letting her get away from me this evening...

There are feelings there, however, from whence they originate is the question. Which brain is running the show in that moment. I am doubting that it is long-term 1/1 Relationship feelings. I could be wrong.

We dated, but never did anything in the bedroom because I haven’t slept with anyone before, and was very honest about the fact that I wouldn’t unless he became my boyfriend:) We dated and talked every day for 6 months until he had to move due to going on exchange and the time difference was 7 hours… This was the first time we saw each other since and our communication fell out due to our busy schedules on opposite sides of the world:/
Our emotional attachment became very strong as there wasn’t really a physical one - hope that helps!

This would have been nice to have known on the front end... space below the question. Had a thing is like saying friends with benefits... non-sexual relationship is better descriptor. You obviously have Value as do all women who maintain their virginity. You are good, special, and I imagine that was wrapped up in the Hug.
