Because we're supposed to be, men are ment to be hunters, fighters and whatnot. We've just been conditioned by centuries of comfort and ease of life to become genial members of society.
Guy's are designed to be full of aggression and competition which is what kept the species going thousands of years ago. But because women have tried to mold us into their "friends" we don't have an outlet for our natural instincts so sometimea we take it out on what's stopping us from runnimg off into the woods and bringing down a deer.

Based on experience, only around 15-20% of men I interacted with were assholes. Including strangers.
