What does it mean if a girl talks to me about other guys she hangs out with, and may or may not like?

Ok picture this scenario: she'll be curled up to me on the bed, twirling my hair, talking about what we've done the last couple of days. She says she went out with some friends and had a lot of fun. So I ask who she went with. She says just some guys. So I'm like, ok, whatever, you got sh*tfaced with a group of random dudes I've never heard you talk about before. Naturally I act as if I think nothing of it, and I change the subject and we talk about different stuff for like half an hour, and then out of the blue she starts blabbering about other guys she's friends with and went out with to me.

She's never talked about other guys to me before, and I've known her for almost a year. Is she just making conversation or am I being friend zoned because she's talking about guys she might be interested in? I'm not actually dating the girl or anything, but we're pretty close. More than friends, but not boyfriend girlfriend either. Just cuddling and kissing and the like when we feel like it. So what does it mean when she starts talking about other guys?

It could mean she's doing it to gauge your reaction - in other words to see if it makes you jealous, and determine how much you like her.

She might be "friendzoning" you, but that wouldn't make much sense if she kisses you.

If you want to be her boyfriend, or just have a better idea what's going on in her head, you should try talking about it, and ask her "how do you feel about us?" or "what do you see us as?". If you really like her, you should try to tell her because if she's not sure that you like her, she might have a hard time telling you.

I went on a couple of dates with a girl and she is interested in me and I am interested in her but on the second date she starts talking about this guy that lives in california and she just brought this up last night on our date and she was talking about moving out there but she said her family is here and I told her I want her to stay here because I would never hurt her but me saying that she is not beleaving me and I said then give me the chance to show you but the thing is she talks about her ex boyfriends what is she trying to tell me

My vote is on friendzoned and she's using you as an emotional tampon... but changed my mind since there is cuddling and kissing. Dude she's trying to make you jealous and want to fight for her in my opinion, she could be just trying to make sure you know you're place as her backup guy only as well though, like a friendzoned emotional tampon that listens to her stupid problem, but will give you more play than a standard friendzoned beta orbiter guy.

I think it's most likely because she regards you as a male version of one of her girlfriends. I had a woman tell me that once, because she never let me fuck her, and she thoroughly enjoyed describing her lovemaking sessions with the lucky guys who were fucking her in vivid, graphic and intimate detail.
