Why is he being 'nice' all of a sudden?

Hi well it prob is nothing but in march he told me to email him and he would reply which I did do and I at first got a reply but then when he moved in with his new girlfriend back in April he stopped texting and replying to my emails. Which caused a point of contention between us I was upset way he had treated me ie dumped me as a friend and all id get back is ooh I'm just too busy to reply I got too much on.

Anyway I stopped emailing him so he started coming on msn talking to me a bit more... and now he's replying to my emails even if its a couple of days later - even apologizing and writing paragraphs of stuff rather than his rather short sentences and one word answers...

It is prob nothing but it just feels different like he's being overly nice :(

It sounds to me like he's just trying to make up for lost time after the honeymoon period with his girlfriend has ended.

I have a number of friends whom I adore but only see a few times a year and often we don't even talk very frequently due to our schedules. Sometimes that's just how it works.

I'd say you should talk to both him and her about it. You don't want to lose this friend, and it sounds like she's the source of that issue.

But that's what I would do.
