My boyfriend didn't notice my hair color change, should I be upset?

i always compliment my boyfriend whenever he changes something about his appearance. But when i did something different with my hair, he didn't notice. Should I get upset?

No, most men don't notice anything different except if it's a big change like blond to brunette or long hair to short, but even then it's a long shot (unless he likes to play with your hair, then he will notice it)..

Trust me girl, most men don't pay attention to a new haircuts so it isn't worth getting angry.

I once changed my outfit 3 times a day to test my boyfriend. In the evening he was slightly confused, but he couldn't figure out what it was that was different about me.

Honestly , you shouldn't be upset because I've noticed that a lot of men do that.. & unless you died your hair like blue it doesn't come to there attention most of the time lol but if you bring it up im sure he will have some type of opinion. Guys can be oblivious but don't worry about it because to him its probably not a big deal so don't be upset.

Oh you really can't expect a man to notice. It's not him being insensitive or anything, guys just generally don't notice single changes in our appearance, such as a hair colour change, they only notice and overall change, like the hair, makeup, a whole physical change. Don't be offended.

How big of a change was it? Some people just simply don't pay attention to it. It's not a reason to be upset, even though it can seem reasonable. He may of noticed it in his head, but forgot to say something about it.

If the change wasn't too obvious I think you shouldn't. I know you did it and expected him to notice, but we guys unfortunately don't pay attention to some details the way you girls do. So, I know you'd like him to do it, but be patient with him, it's not uncommon, it's not only him.

It depends on how often you change it and how big a change the colour was. Sometimes I don't notice my wife's hair until it is in a certain light. Don't be too upset. Guys sometimes just don't notice.

yes. my natural hair color is a light brown and i dyed it to a chocolate brown. and he didn't tell me i looked nice he just complimented my shirt he bought me

Actually no they dont even know a drastic change. I bleached part of my hair bright blonde. And it was a month or 2 before he even noticed. He said oh you colored your hair lastnight? So I would be upset in any situation. I was very upset but my husband never compliments me nor does he care about anything I tell him unless it's about what he wants to hear. He hardly listens when i tell him about our toddlers day. I know I went on a rant I'm sorry. I know not all men or women are that way but it's rare. I kind of just gave up which isn't healthy.

Its not a huge deal if he didn't compliment you on your hair. Especially if it wen from brown to brown, he likely didn't notice. Guys are treading in dangerous waters when it comes to compliments which is why we usually pretend to not have noticed. Cuz if we said something like "i like what you did with your hair" you are likely to snap "what so you didn't like it before!" And get mad at us. Honestly its not something you should get upset about.
