Does he like me or is he just outgoing?

I met a guy at work that I am really starting to like but I can't tell if he is just really nice or not. I am a little bit shy and I'm the type to just do my work and talk to a few of my friends and thats it. I do drive through and he does food prep, and whenever he has the chance he walks over to me and starts a conversation. I get kind of nervous around him so I always think that I bore him, but he always come out of his way to talk so I guess maybe he likes talking to me? Anyways once we get talking he starts teasing me jokingly and throws little things at me. Sometimes he puts tomatoes and weird little foods on the drive through counter so when I turn around I see it. Sometimes he grabs my shoulders and shakes me from the back and he bumps me as if he can't walk. Almost everyday he asks me when I get off work, and when we get off at the same time he asks me what I'm doing later, and when I tell him he just doesn't say anything. He always calls me this nickname he made up for me and its not bad, but when I don't reply to it or say "shut up!!!" then he feels bad and starts apologizing but it wasn't really a big deal. We are both 17 and go to the same school. The worst thing is that when he is around his asshole friends at work, he just stares at me a lot and doesn't say much.

Just ask him!
I'm the same way. And actually have had the same thing happening to me (being the guy in that situation). there's a girl that I met at my latest job. She is pretty shy aswell. I would go out of my way to find her to talk, offer to get something for her during my break-anything from her other jacket, to water or coffee, even offer to buy her a coffee when I did. If we had breaks at the same time I would ask her to get coffee or lunch. When we got off at the same time I would ask her to hang out.
So after doing this for months, we had never really discussed what may or may not have been happening between us. But there was obviously SOMETHING developing between us. Others were beginning to ask. Well work ended. I tried keeping in touch with her (she gave me her cellphone number). But every time I call she doesn't pickup. It rings through to her voicemail. I've left some voicemails (not my favorite thing to do :\) and I've texted her, but no reply...
If one of us would have just asked the other how s/he felt, then we could either be happily together, or we would at least know.. Instead I am still unsure how she feels about me.

First off you have to ask yourself this question, does he do this stuff with any other girls whom you work with? If not, then he is showing flirtatious behavior and he really likes you :)
