Guy seems interested but hasn't asked me to hangout again?

Spent the night with a guy and didn't do anything but let him kiss me, and he told me I was a good kisser and has been texting me ever since but when I hint towards hanging out he doesn't ask me to hangout. He's confusing me, he stayed up talking to me all night and then when I left in the morning he seemed smitten, towards me. Like I had him, but then he hasn't bothered asking me to hangout again:/ he'd ask me what I'm doing tonight and I would say something like "nothing planned yet you?" Giving him the option and he doesn't take it

It sounds to me like perhaps this guy is either scared or too nervous to take the direct approach of actually asking to see you again. If that's the case, then no matter how much opportunity you give him, he may never actually ask to see you again. At least not any time soon! lol
It's definitely a good sign that he's making the effort to text you and ask what you have planned etc. Perhaps you could ask him if he would like to hang out or go somewhere one evening? You'll then get a clear indication as to whether this guy is really interested in you. If he says yes, then great! :o) If he backs out, then yes, this is confusing, erratic behaviour and I would then suggest you move on!
I can only suggest that one of you ask to meet up again, and if it's not him, then there's no reason why you can't. Take the direct, bold approach! ;o) Good luck and I hope that things work out for you! :o)

Thanks! I asked him instead and he seemed eager so we're hanging out tonight with some mutual friends to ease the tension but overall I think he was nervous
