How to invite her over...?

Here it is:

I want to spend some time with this girl out of school...maybe invite her over to my house...but what is the best way to go about this?

I don't want to invite her alone, because I'd come off as a creep...

Should I invite her with more of her friends? But then I worry I'd be like left out of my own party...

Should I invite some mutual guy friends? But then I worry I'll have to compete...

So basically, what is the best way to get a girl to hang out at my house, with minimal problems?

Update:

I should be more clear. We're in high school...a coffee date isn't going to work...nor will any 'date'.

Also, I often have informal gatherings at my house.

Inviting her alone and inviting her with HER female friends are the best options. Let's examine both:

Option 1: Mostly used to take the relationship to a physical level. You're much less likely to come off as a creep if there's a good comfort level between you and the girl (i.e., you've been on several dates, you've flirted with her, you've kissed her, you've had several deep conversations and both of you felt comfortable--not all these things are necessary, but make sure that friendly rapport and romantic interest on her part is there). Also much more likely to go well if you "suggest" a legitimate reason to invite her over (e.g., suggest you guys watch a movie, play a game, show her your music collection). If she agrees to come over alone, just know that she may expect you to make a move. If you want to avoid sexual connotations for now, maybe pass on inviting her to come to your place alone.

Option 2: Just show all the girls a good time. Don't worry about being left out--let them socialise with each other. The risk is, your girl might get jealous if she sees you showing the other girls too much attention. It's also possible for any guy to be a little "distracted" when there are other girls around, so watch yourself. You really have to know her, and it may help to know her friends as well, to pull it off.

Either way it's a slightly risky move, but if the girl is usually pretty cool about these things, and neither of you are taking things extremely seriously, than go for either option. Don't worry about all the "warnings" I suggested. Just follow your intuition on this one, stay cool about everything, make sure she's comfortable, and you'll be fine. Good luck man.

Dude - it's a girl, not a pet that you lure into your house with the temptation of food.

Ask her out on a date in a public place like any other person. If you make a good impression on her she will be more likely to go to your place later.

Oh, and don't invite her/your friends if you're keen on her. They'll just distract her from you.

I think inviting her at your house will scare her off.. why not start with a casual coffee date? And if that goes well, then at least you've got your foot in the door.
