He asked for my number last weekend but hasn't called... why?

So last weekend I went out with my friend and I got a little buzzed. Met a great guy (at least he seemed great at the moment), and he asked for my number. I put my number in his phone and called myself with it incase I gave him the wrong number since I was a little tipsy. Anyways, I had a few more drinks and I end up really drunk (not hammered but drunk) and made out with him. Nothing else happened tho, I went home with my friend later that night. And now its two days later (today is the third day), I haven't heard anything from him... I thought we had a good chemistry... and he was the one who asked for my number.. why would he ask for my number but do nothing about it? I did not call or text him, I try to add him on snapchat but I don't think he use it.. I deleted all his contact info last night, I figured if he wanted to call he is going to call. I really hope he'll call or text me tho, even tho the chances are super slim... I don't really think anyone would use the old "3 day rule" anymore, most guys would def call or text the next day. At this point I might as well just stop waiting.
I've never had a guy who wouldn't contact after asked for my number, this is my first time, and it's not really a good experience! Do not ask for our number if you are not going to call!

Should I just give up and move on? I already deleted all his contact info... I just can't get him off my mind (mostly because he is the only guy I've met that won't call me after getting my number). I don't really believe 3 day rules because no one in my life have ever used that rule... I know I should not get my hopes up but I really do wish he'd call me

He seems to have mastered the art of picking up women. It has nothing to do with the three day rule. Rather, how to lower a girl's defences or value by paying no interest in her.

By not calling, he makes the target (the girl) confused and socially vulnerable. This stirs anxiety in the target, and raises his appeal in the eyes of the target. He does this to differentiate himself from the rest of the noisy, sex-hungry guys.

If indeed that's his intention, he is the patient, quiet knight (as known in the pickup community) ready to pounce when the prey (the girl) is at most defenceless.

Ok calm down, your sounding very desperate. Some guys do still use the 3 day rule dont ask, its just one of those things. He may also be waiting til the weekend or he just might not like you anymore. You may have gotten a little too drunk and that changed things. It happens.
You should stop waiting either way. He was probably married anyways.

Thanks! :) I already deleted all his contact info tho. he def got my number cuz I saved it into his contact... and I don't think he is that drunk (at least from my point of view... I was the drunk one). But it's been three days.. and now I just don't really think he'll call at all. may be he has a girlfriend.. I just wish he would use the number, cuz why bother asking for it in the first place?
