Guys, what does it mean if his arm brushed past mine?

Him and I sat together in the school theater because we had an assembly, and since we had to sit with our project's group, he sat next to me. I rested my arms on both of the armrests of my seat (like those movie theater seat armrests) and he just rested his arms in his lap. His arm started brushing past my arms on the armrest, as he changed positions in his chair. Then he started resting his elbows also on the armrest. our elbows touched. Guys, would you ever rest your arms on the armrest and so touching another girl's elbows with your elbows if you weren't interested in her? Is it just an accident? I'm I overexaggerating?

After the event most students lingered around outside of the theater but he immediately went home? Wouldn't he want to spend more time around me if he liked me though?

Several scenarios: It's just a basic oversight, he's simply trying to find a good position OR he's too shy to talk to you, so he finds secretive ways to be in contact with you, even if it's just innocent physical contact and the reason he left so quickly, was because he had no clue what to say OR it's a little mix of both, he's interested, but not overwhelmingly and brushing his arm against yours was a little play, but the rest was basically because he needed a better position to sit.

This is a hard one. If he does like u he is being very subtle and he might be shy. I think he might hav been expecting more to happen after the arm brushing and cos nothing happened he gave up too easily and left straight away. But it could have meant he was just finding a comfortable position and being a man by taking up space.

It probably means that the arm brushing against your arm was intentional and he was testing to see how you would respond. When you didn't respond, he assumed that he had made a mistake and left so he would not be forced to stay ad face any embarrassment.

If it's like A movie theatre, you can't hardly move without touching the person next to you. On the other hand, a lot of guys will use a situation like that to make a little physical contact. So either he is really into you, or he was just trying to get close to you. I think you need to keep this guy under observation for now.

But yes it's normally a sign of interest when a guy touches you but in this case I think you are just overthinking it
