Tupac take on shifting from 'NICE GUY' to 'Asshole': Being nice and showing respect hurts your chances?
Do you agree that showing respect and being nice hurt guys?
No. Being a spineless doormat who's afraid of expressing his opinions because he wants to avoid conflict at all costs hurts guys. Only knowing how to say "yes" hurts guys, if they truly want to say "no" sometimes. Letting yourself get used and abused hurts guys. Letting people walk all over you hurts guys. Not being able to stand up for yourself hurts guys.
Being a decent human being, being respectful towards others, and being nice, is in no way hurtful. And if anyone thinks that, then they're seriously confusing the examples I provided above with "niceness" and/or "respect". Sure, you can get a girl by being an asshole. But is that seriously the kind of girl you want to be with? I doubt it. And if you want to become an asshole just to get girls, you've got issues. Who the fuck actually wants to be a bad person? They're all horrible, disgusting people, and I'm not quite sure why so many guys actually LIKE being associated with douchebags like that. Just because they think girls will like it? Please. That's what I call spineless.
Have you heard his songs, "Wondswhy they call you bitch,"and "Baby don't cry."Those are like two contrasting views of his.
I think he truly did love women, but at that time that the ones of him calling women bitches was probably around 1994, when that girl said that he sexually assaulted her, and if it didn't happen, he's probably only talking about girls like that. Who lie and uses men for money. He really hated women like that.
As for the guy thing, it can. Just like there are douche of guys, there are terrible girls. I understand nice guys frustraion.
It neither hurts or adds to your appeal it's a nearly a fact of complimenting personities some people like "assholes" some like "nice guys " the ones who say nice guys get friend zoned are just chasing the wrong Wemon
I think Tupac took on the thug image because he wanted to be a rapper. He was entitled to it because he grew up in the hood, but he was intelligent. So I don't believe he turned into a thug by his experiences alone, but some of it was self imposed.
I agree, Mac Dre basically sums it up..
