This sucks... I guess (lol) but I know this guy at my job & we're casually cool. He talks to me a lot.. at length , whenever we're not really 'working' at work he comes to talk to me. He knows my name, he uses it regularly & called me before. One day I wasn't there & a friend told me that when this other girl entered the room he shouted my name to her excitedly. Then he noticed his error & pretended he did it on purpose as a joke but she could tell it he wasn't joking. Then he asked my friend if I was there that day.
The girl he called my name is a friend of mine. He is cool with her too but they don't speak as often. We don't look alike, except in hairstyle & complexion. We are both soft spoken but she's really really quiet, I'm just shy at times. I actually thought he may like me, so how could he mistake me so easily. I'd never confuse someone I'd like with their friend. I texted him the day before & we chatted into the night , so its not like he should've forgot me.. What gives?
