Why do you guys always keep asking about whatsapp?

I don't understand this why? Whenever I start chat with some guys, they always asking about whatsapp.
Do you have whatsapp? Let's chat there? What? We're already chatting here, and why I need to share my personal number with strange guy like you? When I say kik, they become silent? What the hell?

Can somebody please tell me about the purpose of this question?
And I'm never going to share my whatsapp number with anybody! No way.

whatsapp is the most common app that anyone can put in their mobile. and that way most guys get in touch with you any time than any other application.

They are looking for easy ways to try and get you on a personal messenger so they can eventually ask for nudes.

Guys who ask for Skype, whatsapp, kik, snapchat... instablock them they are scumbags.

Boys are programmed like that. They wanna be closer with you. May be they felt you are gorgeous and cute. They want to be a good friend of you. Moreover you will never give your whatsapp number. That is good and keep it up.
