Why does my crush harden his chest when he hugs me?

I've been talking to my crush about a month or so and he wants me to give him hugs and talk to him but when i go and give him hugs, i place my head on his chest bc im short and i feel his chest harden like really hard. Why does he do this?

Guys want to seem physically strong or brolic to impress girls and show/be like, "O i been hitting the gym or I am strong."

Basically he is just trying to impress you and it's like a guy thing for some guys for whenever a girl is about to touch them, they flex lol dumb af tho

Lmao I can relate to this lol. He's trying to flex so that you'll feel his muscles. It's sort of like what girls do when they lift their boobs up or bend over to show us their butt in order to try and catch our attention.

It would seem that a lot of women aren't just interested in the shape of muscles - but how hard they are. Lots of women have commented to me that they don't like "soft" men. I think it's an evolutionary thing - and I think guys are "hip" to it.
