Attraction isn't a choice. Our hormones are genetically drawn towards women with birth giving hips and baby feeding boobs.
And thin women tend to imply health, which is hot. Where as overly fat women tend to imply lack of health, and lack of self control. This is all superficial of course.
Curves are not about being fat... a woman with a small waist but big boobs and ass implies health and baby making skills. So automatically she's more attractive than just a skinny girl, who might just be sickly.
But of course there are so many different types of men that it's easy to find a group that are into super skinny or supper fat, or every shape in the middle.
When in doubt focus on your own physical health and mental well being... that will be what's MOST attractive about you anyways.
My roommate keeps insisting that I lose weight but my body feels comfortable the way it is - I've lost weight before and my body seems happy to return to this weight after a while. I don't really concern myself with looking like a stick.

You can be skinny and curvy. But it's biological that a lot of men likes curves, it's basic survival instinct. Maybe you have heard the expression "birthing hips" which essentially sums it up pretty well; curves are an expression of fertility and health, and it's a basic instinct for men to be turned on by a woman fit to bear a child and being able to pass on his genes. It's true even for men who doesn't want children. That doesn't mean lean, skinny and athletic women aren't a turn on for men though, not at all.
They don't want skinny girls as in they look like skeletons are almost like them.
Curvy is not being chubby. Curvy is when you have medium/large boobs and wider hips. Which I think the reason men like that more. In nature that would mean the chick looks more physically mature. If I worded that correctly.

well i dont know where your from, but i've always heard that curves are way better than being skinny and the self conscious girls are the ones that are naturally really skinny. curves are attractive because they're feminine and sex feels better. but don't get things confused, curvy doesn't mean overweight. it means having a curvy shape. a skinny girl can be considered curvy. but its better when a girl also has some weight in the right places (boobs, hips, ass, thighs) and is at a healthy weight.
Well, to put it simple curvy is like an hourglass shape people seem to group it in the girls that are a bit chunky which is a different thing and the answer is simply cause it's sexually arousing I guess? Probably some science stuff that comes into play
As many people have said before, what women like for themselves is not necessarily what men look for in women. There was a My Take about cosmetics that said to men, "do you really think we do it for you?"
The thinness thing is the same thing. Many men like curves. Many women like to be thin.

You can be thin and curvy. Curvy is not a size, it's a shape. And different guys have different preferences. Also, not every girl wants to be skinny. There are plenty of women that are thicker and bigger that are perfectly ok with their weight.

Curvy is thrown around way to much. A 500lbs woman will call herself curvy, a lady with a big ole ass calls herself curvy, the lady that's as big around as she is tall calls herself curvy. To me curvy is am hourglass with ample tits and ass. So to summarize, most men don't like the fat woman's definition of curvy.
Yes they are by far the sexiest women on the planet woman should have curves and in all the right places there's nothing more sexually exciting for me anyway etsy in a curvy girl stick insects or twiggy like models do nothing for me and I think deep down a lot maybe not all men but a lot of men feel exactly the same way as me so if you are curvy and worried about it don't be because it's far more important what's on the inside not outside especially if you want to form a meaningful relationship that will not last just because someone finds you attractive that's just lust which it's not abad thing in a relationship don't get me wrong
I actually like chubby women the most. It's hard to explain because I can't control it. Something about love handles, a round face, etc just drives me crazy.

I know. That's what I've been trying to tell some of my relatives that I need to lose weight but they say I'm healthy and plus I'm tall and I need to weight more than smaller women.
