He didn't ask me out for Valentine's Day?

So, the guy I have been seeing on and off did not ask me out on Valentines. He told me that he is doing something with his family that weekend. Lame excuse right?

Can I assume that he doesn't like me anymore?

The thing this, I would know for sure that he didn't like me except that he texts me everyday. Why would he bother texting me if he wasn't even a little bit interested?

Firstly he could be one of those jerks that likes to lead girls on and never actually makes of move do to fear of commitment. I have a couple of guy friends who are like that, and honestly they make the rest of us look bad. Secondly, If it was me and I was busy on Valentines day, I would be taking you out either the day before or the day after to compenstate. I'd say he's obvious not serious about you and you should probably just ditch him
