I reconnected with an ex and we’ve been dating again since December and he hasn’t not mentioned anything about Valentine’s Day. He’s talked about upcoming date night ideas but nothing for valentines.
Dang, that is a kinda awkward situation. I guess since you guys have been dating again since December, most people would probably expect him to ask you to be his valentine by now. Valentine's Day is usually a big deal for couples. I wouldn't want you to get all stressed about it though! Some guys can be pretty clueless about these kinds of things too.
Maybe he's just taking it slow since it's an ex you reconnected with, and doesn't wanna seem too pushy or something. Or possibly he's got something planned already and wants it to be a surprise. Who knows, dudes can be weird sometimes! I'd say just bring it up casuallly, like "Hey so Valentine's Day is coming up, any plans?" and see how he reacts. Pay attention to like his body language and stuff too when you ask.
If he seems weird or doesn't have any ideas, then yeah maybe that's a sign he's not super into it. But hopefully he's got something in mind! Try talking to him and don't freak out just yet. Maybe give him a little nudge so he knows it's something you'd wanna do. Communication is important, right? Hope it all works out and you end up having a good Valentine's Day whether it's with him or doing your own thing! Keep me posted on what happens!

Did you you ask him to be your Valentine? Maybe he was waiting for you to say someting. I've never understood why women just wait passively for the man to do everything.

Personally I wouldn't in case he's planning a surprise. If he doesn't do anything I would ask him what he did for Valentine's Day.
