My boyfriend didn’t contact me on Valentine’s Day and when I asked he said he was going to see me but his family callled so he went to eat with them. And we met next day and gave me present. Is this normal? He didn’t initiate text and also didn’t wish me happy valentine. We did recently just got back together

It seems like he could have just turned down the family dinner. Valentine’s Day is for couples. Surely they would have understood if he chose to be with his romantic partner on that day.

I can tell u without a doubt I dont know many males that will take a girl serious if he has to put all the effort into contacting her if u are too shy to contact your partner I'm not sure you are ready to be in a relationship
