Is it a bad sign of a guy doesn't respond after 12 hours?

So I texted a guy over 12 hours ago. Is it weird he hasn't responded

It could be a number of things! I'm going through the same thing lol! We have iPhones so I see when he reads my texts & like tonight he read my text at like 7 something & hasn't replied in like 7 hours... He's been doing this lately! He used to text me Like all day but now he's been hella slacking lol! BUT he says that he be super busy! Which he does have a busy stressful life honestly! So I be understanding but it does frustrate me tho bc I'm so used to him texting me all the time but lately he may go a whole day without contacting me & then the next day, he will text! It sucks!

It's okay love! You're doing right by controlling yourself! I know it's super hard BUT all u have to do is NOT contact him no matter how bad u want to! & if he misses u, he will contact YOU! Sometimes if the guy sits there & thinks like "oh wow she didn't text me today at all" he will wonder what's going on & text u! Or u could do him like he does u! Just take 12 hours to respond to him lol'! I know it's so childish BUT it works! Sometimes they will see how it feels & it will make u look like you're not sitting by your phone waiting for him to text u lol! Good luck girl!

Well he finally responded and I waited to reply to him so I didn't seem too excited or like I've been waiting for his text. And we decided we were going to go out tonight after i got out of work. But now he isn't responding on where we are meeting I'm like freaking out

Ugh I know the feeling! I'm doing the same thing right now actually! The guy I'm dealing with, he didn't text me for two days & just read my texts without replying & today he texted "heyy" & I just read it & didn't even reply bc right now I don't know if I want to continue dealing with him! He's changed & I don't like it! So I think I might take time to think or maybe I will wait to see how he reacts to me not texting him! u should do the same! DONT respond to his text messages, just read them & if he doesn't text you in like two days, then text him back & see how he reacts!

All I said was hi how are you. And we've seen each other around through common friends and just kinda started talking and flirting
