What are the chances that a sent text doesn't actually get sent to the person at all?

Most of the time when I text this person. I never get a text back and he says that he never got it and doesn't know what I'm taking about. then there are times when I will text him and he will text me back right away then I will text him back again and I will never get a text back. I mean how are you suppose to progress things with someone when that happens. I'm not sure if I believe him because he's the only person that does that to me or that happens with. What do y'all think?

Every phone company has a code that you can put before the message and then it will reply back if the message was successfully sent. Just google it and you will find a list.

Some messages don't go through (I have compared phones with someone when we thought something weird was going on with both of our phones).

That being said, yea, it could be a lot of reasons about his texting mannerisms, but if you get a read receipt from each one, then at least you know he got it and you can concentrate on the real reasons he's ignoring you (if that's the case).

Usually failed messages are due to bad signal or a faulty phone, if he is the only person who says he doesn't get your messages, and his phone isn't faulty... Then it is most likely he is just avoiding you for whatever reason. If someone texts me I always feel the need to reply... The odd time someone will say they never got my message or I never replied, in the end it is usually the fact they have recently changed their number or something. If none of these things are the answer then I don't see how so many texts would go missing...

Yeah he's lying to you most likely, you are forcing something that isn't there. If he likes you he will text you or return your text no matter what, he might be trying to avoid you.
