Why do some guys like BOSSY women?

I'm very laid-back and easygoing for the most part, which I thought would be a positive thing when I started dating.

Both of my guy friends tell me they like "bossy, bitchy" women though. They like pissing me off and fighting with me just because.

Is this a common thing? I'm no doormat and I can see why guys would like an ambitious woman who knows what she wants, but what is the appeal in straight-up bitches?

You know, I find that older guys are starting to prefer them. And what's surprising, is that they're "traditional" types who want to be the provider. But they say they want someone with backbone.

I remember telling this customer at my bar how men seem to love drama. And he said some do, many do, some don't. It's just that, especially if they're older, it makes them feel young. He would always say "I'm almost 60. I don't want a woman who's knitting in a rocking chair. I want to rock her in a chair (he meant sex)". So he preferred women with "fire". And many of the guys agreed. They saw it as a sign that she's crazy for him,

I fail to see the correlation between being bitchy and having passion though.

To me being attracted to bitchy/bossy girls sounds more like the guy himself has no backbone and low self-esteem.

@FakeName123 no lol literally his girlfriend was an addict and she was very jealous. She went to the bar and nearly got into a fight with another bartender because she was jealous that she would hit on him. She'd go in there telling, no yelling, for him to go home already. Then she'd take his keys and drive off with his truck and tell him to take a cab.
They were always arguing and after she left, I'd ask why would he stay? And he'd say the sex was just too good. The crazier the girl, the more passionate and wild the sex.

Dafuq? I would leave her ass right that instant. Passion and some jealousy = perfectly fine. Going nuts not so much.

And sex really isn't that important that you have to forego any human decency. But if he values sex really that highly and higher than having a great relationship altogether, then I guess he deserves what he has there.

It's so nice to have a girl like that on your side though when shit goes down. That's why I like them. They're like rottweilers: dangerous, unless they're on your side. If you don't know how to handle a rottweiler though, it'll fuck you up.

I like an easygoing woman's personality. But with bitchy women you have a better understanding of where you stand with them. You can almost treat them like a guy.
