He gives me mixed signals all the time, though he stares at me all the time and is nervous around me always, so I was thinking that he liked me, but when I texted him, he didn't text me back. Is he not interested in me? He's shy and i'm pretty sure he has social anxiety.

Maybe you can realize something by his close friends or family, but anyway you shouldn't text him anymore until you meet him in person and also if you pretend to not be so worried about him not texting back, the conversation would be less awkward for both of you. I can tell there was a guy at my class, he definitely used to like me but he was shy and he never asked me to go out even why we became best friends soon. But it happened because he was afraid I'd reject him, that's why the best thing you can do is to give time to him; probably a lot is passing through his mind. I really wish you the best because I know how you feeling. ❤

He might just be intimidated. I'm shy and if my crush texted me out of the blue (especially if they're popular) I probably wouldn't reply at first because I would be afraid or think it's some sort of trick :(

If I were you, I'd send some softball texts that he can easily respond to and make sure you talk when you see him in person!

i am quiet shy myself and well... i won't recommend reading our signals. you are more likely to get confused. if he didn't text you back then it doesn't mean that he will not be interested in you. just be cool and wait till you meet him next time and ask him. also his not picking up on your chat might have had nothing to do with him being shy.

What does it have to do with then? I'm very confused. I think he likes me because he always stares at me from his car, his apartment, from the parking lot and his family and friends do too, and he's nervous around me all the time. it may have to do with many things, maybe it has to do with you not matching his personality and thus him being nervous, maybe it has to be about him thinking that suddenly you getting his number is a bit strange, maybe it is about the thing that for some unknown reason we get teased by girls a lot and he doesn't want to be that way. I don't really know that guy so judging by a conversation is not possible for me. Anyways, i think that texting him was a bad idea, you should have talked when you were together. it seems like you have some good link with the guy and his family so it shouldn't be tough.
