Guys do you ever get sick of always initiating text messages?

Hypothesis:
the girl you text always answers enthusiastically and really fast but she never initiates. She also shows lots of interest and tells you she likes you but she never texts you first. Would you eventually get sick of texting her first?

Yes I've done it and I've also had it happen to me.

Its quite common for girls to be a little less aggressive when it comes to initiating but if done too much, Its a sign of her not stepping out of her comfort zone. Or simply not willing to show her true feelings up front. Which makes me think she's passive or always trying to play it safe and afraid of risk EVEN though she's all giddy during conversations

It's definitely something I notice and I've actually let a girl go once because of this exact type of thing. Its a two way situation, Part of falling for her is knowing she can pick up or start something when I sometimes can't or my mind is dulled out.

Yes... I usually will only send 2 or 3 unreplied txt/emails before I wouldn't contact her anymore. Actions speak louder than words. You know what it is... her not initiating texts/emails, tells me... I'm not on her mind/she's not thinking of me. Makes me think I'm wasting my time.. I lose interest.

If a girl gives me her # and I text her and she doesn't respond that day.. I delete her and she lots any chance.

Yes I feel like the guy is either not interested or is taking advantage of me (Ive had guys use this as an example to justify picking on me. I dont do it in a clingy way, they just take our conversations and show it to their guyfriends to make it seem that way and say things like "omg man this girl is trying to get with me she's so *negative word*, she obviously can't get with me, lets talk about this girl that I wouls rather bone bla bla bla) even when I dont like them in that way. so i always felt insecure about it. I try to do it less now though, it was perfect when it was mutual with my ex he didn't care at all.

I used to never initiate, because I thought it would make me seem clingy, but then I found out that guys like it when we initiate too so I try to compromise and initiate every now and then to let him that know I'm interested. I always get a positive response when I do that. You should try it.

No. If the person was enthusiastic in response, thats more important to me. I get sick of people who dont carry conversations or are just one word plain and simple all the time. The initiation aspect isn't a big deal to me, but i understand early in a relationship it might mean more to people

Of course he would feel as though he is the only interested in keeping the relationship going. Guys are people too. Anyone who is doing all the pursuing will get tired of it after awhile and just stop.

I wouldn't say I get sick of it... but I definitely would get the feeling that she isn't really interested in texting with me or even in me as a person if that happens over a longer period of time and it would also give me the feeling that I might annoy/bother her with my texts.
But it depends a bit on how our conversations are... and it's more than just replying quickly or showing some interest, some people do that just out of politeness lol. But if I really have the feeling that she enjoys talking to me then it wouldn't bother me that much that I have to initiate it.

Definitely. Even if she responds away quickly it could only mean she's just being nice or smth. Always being the one initiating would make feel as I'm the only one having any interest whatsoever so I'll stop being a pain to her and move on. Why are you waiting for him to text anyways, if you also wanted to talk to him? Where's the logic there?

I initiate with everyone, it's annoying.
Male, female doesn't matter.
People rarely message me first unless they want something or finally grew a pair of balls to ask if I want to hang out. I'm always asking everyone if they want to hang out and I arrange everything.

I wouldn't feel like she's uninterested, since she's acting like she is, i would wonder if she's willing to put the work in the relationship that i would. Id wonder how long she'd stay interested and if she's just a flippant person unless i have other info that dispels those worries.

yeah when i get sick of it i just stop texting her. i've learned that if the girl actually likes you she'll come running back. if she doesn't, and its been like a week and she's made no effort to contact you, she's not worth pursuing. imagine your girlfriend/boyfriend just stops texting you and its been like more than 2 days, you text and call to see whats going on right? same rule applies

Actually I never initiate. I feel like girls would always love to talk to me but r too afraid of bein like weird or creepy or something like that. But I just have this habit of waiting until they text first cuz I never know when they want to talk to me.
