Guys, Texting all the time to nothing?

Me and my best friend used to text lots till all hours sometimes. I have known him so long and I also know he's wife. (I am also in a relationship) the texts have become less but they were still happening quite often. Just casual texting. (Not flirting or anything in that Manor) our texting has stopped and I barely see him anymore.
I always seemed to be initiating the messaging but he would reply instantly.
I miss my friend 😢
Did I do something wrong?

Could be anything from being busy to him thinking he wa talking too much or his wife thinking he was talking too much anything

I don't think she is the type to check who he is talking to or checking he's phone. She could be but what I know of her she doesn't seem like that. Maybe he did think we were messaging too much 🤷🏼‍♀️
