Was he acting all the time , pretending he liked me or was he honest according to what he's claiming he does? why is he acting like a victim?

This guy in my class asked for a chance to date I gave him the chance before he used to text me and not talk to me when he sees me and even after I gave him the chance he still was like before texting me calling me but not talking to me while we're in the university I wouldn't mind if he was shy but he wasn't cause he spent most of his time with other girls in the class specifically one him and his friend they're always with them and when I asked him what is with this girl (one of them is engaged) he was like there's nothing between us acting shocked why am I thinking like that after a while he told me let's date after uni and keep in touch till that time I asked him why? he told me he didn't want us to argue and for me to not think like that when I see him with a girl and I wasn't convinced in what he was saying I saw it as an excuse for him to do whatever he wants and me to not talk about it also he said I don't want other students to think we're dating. I decided to say okay and not talk to him again when we finish university but he asked to keep in touch so I wanted to see if he does and he didn't text for 2 weeks he suddenly texted me one day saying hi how're you? that's it and I couldn't handle it anymore and told him to not contact me again he blamed me as usual saying I always say let's end this and honestly I tried to talk to him many times and try to tell him what's annoying me but he always used to say okay and then not change anything at all spending time with the other girl, helping her with everything, not talking to me but then when I confronted him with everything he gets mad a blames Me for thinking negatively and that I always say things that he wouldn't say it to Me that's just because I said let's end this thinking this is the last solution. It's been 17 days since we last talked after I told him to not contact me and he didn't thinking I am the one who did him wrong after all he said to me and what he did I couldn't handle it anymore

It's concerning that he wanted to keep you a secret and not talk when you see each other at your university. He isn't giving you enough attention or showing that he's proud to be together. I would probably move on.

That's what his actions made me thought actually and I told him he laughed saying he had never thought that way and ofcourse got mad for me thinking like that

When somebody is honestly interested in you they will want you, crave you, miss you, and focus lots of attention on you. They WILL talk to you in public and probably be proud to be together and maybe even want others to know you're together in a territorial way. This guy is acting very detached at times and it's up to you if that's the type of partner you want.

What's important is how you feel and what you want in a partner. That's why I say moving on and dating somebody new may be a better option than waiting around and wondering why he barely talks to you.
