Guys, how do you feel about girls' nails?

What do you think about nail polish, long nails (fake or real)? Are they attractive to you? Do you even notice girls' nails? I personally find anything done to nails unhygienic and keep them short and clean.

Here are my comments:
- I LOVE well kept and manicures and tastefully painted nails.
- I definitely notice them and if I am in a conversation with the girl or if I know her, I make sure I compliment her.
- I dislike very long or very short nails
- inalsondo notmlike those very square ended or witch-like recent trend pointed nails (TURNOFF)
- What @JustBanAnnaz posted is simply perfect. I do however prefer colors that are slight less subtle.
- Last but not least, all my rules and feelings apply to toes too.

I don't like the long nails. I have seen girls that have had color on their short nails that looked cool. Normally I don't really notice nails though :).

I'm sure a guy won't notice a girls nails if he was far way from her. If he was just casually talking to her (up close) then yes he'll notice her nails. I assume guys hate fake long nails like these..

I'm thinking guys like natural nails, with no to some nail polish colours (such as black, nude, grey, white, red). My nails are like this, but the tip is oval

Those two sets are a COMPLETE turnoff. Too long and fake and obnoxiously shaped.

I'm pretty sure they notice, but not really the shape and stuff. all they care about is length and colour, or lack thereof.
i like mine medium- "long" with a few coats of nail polish. they're in a square shape usually, so something like this:

Those are bloody perfect nails. Love them. Perfect length and shape. But that person is also lucky to have those perfect nails and fingers.

@JustbanAnnaz Oh for sure. My wife always hates the fact that she has thicker fingers. I have never said anything to her but it is something I also feel sad about.

My guy used to notice it all the time. I used to change my nail colour everyday to match my outfit and he complimented me on that. He noticed all the small efforts I made, the heels, the necklace, the nailpaint, a blowout.

I would say 99% of the time we don't notice nails (or care) unless they really stand out in some way, like really long or some wild bright color. They do nothing for attraction (for me anyway) and can even be a bit of a turn off (especially really long ones - like too long).

Can be a total deal breaker if they are long and fake or bedazzled or something gross. Like anything you see rihanna having or something is usually gross. Short and natural with solid colors or french manicures are good

Prefer soft and natural. Though the good thing about having a girlfriend is that they give preening attention to otherwise neglected areas. Removing 'hangnails', filing the top of nails, yup, for some reason women do that.

They can look nice. They're never especially a turn on, they can just look pleasant.

I notice and I love nails on a woman. I like fake pretty long nails in French or a hot red, pink or neutral color. Very attractive! Do you like doing them?

I don't like overuse of makeup, nail polish included. They should indeed be kept all natural, and don't let them grow too long.
