What does it mean when a guy says 'she's nice'?

What does the above mean if a guy tells your friend that you are nice? Does it mean he is interested or not? Why would he go red in the face when he sees you and at the mention of the girls name?

When we say "she's nice" we're talking about her personality. As in, she isn't rude, or bitchy, or annoying.

As for the getting red bit, it means we like them.
