My boyfriend mentioned about a girl he dated before. And this is how the conversation went:

boyfriend: *mentions girl he dated before the very first time*

Me: how long ago was this?

boyfriend: 5 years ago. Nice girl, just didn’t work out.
Me: Did it last?
boyfriend: For a few dates nothing more.

I still don’t know why he mentioned she’s a nice girl even without me asking. I’m totally lost 🤷🏻‍♀️
