What do guys mean when they say “she looks nice”?

When you guys say a girl “looks nice” does it mean:
a.) She looks pretty
b.) She looks approachable and friendly
c.) She’s got plain features but is done up to look better
d.) She looks attractive but you don’t want to use other terms (hot, sexy, beautiful) to play it safe
e.) She looks plain but is dolled up so you feel obliged to pay her a compliment
f.) She’s attractive but not attractive enough to pass for pretty/hot/beautiful
g.) Others: _____________ (what else, exactly?)

What’s the most true and most frequent usage for you?

For me it’s a more passive way of saying she’s above average. If I really am attracted then I’ll say she looks hot or sexy or stunning. But if I see someone who looks better than average and someone asks about her, I’ll say she looks nice.

Could also be after observing her behavior if she’s treating others well I could say she looks nice to mean she’s pleasant to be around.

Also if asked about clothes I could say she looks nice if I see she made an effort to be well put together

Because of MeToo, and so many other current sexual/identity stigmas, and judgements, I am afraid to say ANY OF THESE!!
It's like all this Diversity, Inclusion, and Racial things, and MeToo makes EVERY MALE afraid to even talk to a woman, because the slightest fcking thing might be called "sexist" or whatever!!
Good work, on that!! Everyone seems more DIVIDED, and AFRAID to connect, not just because of the VIRUS, but EVERY LITTLE THING IS OFFENSIVE TO SOMEONE!!
