It isn't derogatory. It's a compliment. It does mean you are beautiful and sexy enough to "pin up" your picture some where. Specifically, pin up girls have a certain look. This is more from years ago, but this is the classic "Pin up" girl look.

Look it up. Pin up models are like Rita Hayworth and Liz Taylor means you either have some sort of grace or you like to wear vintage things to wear you look vintage 50s style.
