He stares at me all day at work but avoids me?

I work at a bakery in a grocery store and this guy I like has works in grocery. He will stare at me all day and even go out of his way to stare at me. Every time, I look up from something I'm doing in the bakery he's staring or walking around the bakery but ignores me. I have been trying to figure him out. He dips into isle trying to avoid me if he see's me coming and even at times, he does things to obviously avoid me in front of co-workers and embarrasses me and him. HELP! I don't know what he is doing? He is making this impossible and is throwing daily mixed messages. Does he like me, or not?

No way of knwing, but he seems weird, or just REALLY shy. I'd take the initiative and ask him what's going on. What have you got to lose by asking him? Either he'll ask to see you outside of work, or he'll run away completely!

Tell him not to stare at you, though. That's creepy.

I did think of that. Just confronting him but he runs away from me and walks out in the middle of conversation with other people when he see's me. He's acting like a maniac. And, on top of that my best friend who worked there as well watches him all day stalk me.

I have been thinking about just igoring him or asking him because I do like him and it's hard for me to gather the nerves to ask him what he is doing???

Corner him somewhere..ask him what's going on and tell him you'll report him to the management there if he won't answer!

Yes, but he is too shy to talk to you. Or, he could be obsessing you and might become your stalker if you turn him down or make him upset so you might want to be really really careful about what you do about him!
