Is it bad that I don't like my crush anymore after finding out he is too "nice"?

Whenever I talk to him, he is super sweet to the point that it gets kind of annoying. I feel like a bad person for saying this but his kindness sometimes gets on my nerves a little. I'm personally not the nicest person in the world and talking to him makes me feel awkward.

Thanks for the answers. I think I find him "too nice" because he rarely jokes around and when he does, he apologizes thinking I got offended by it. I think I feel awkward because I know I don't deserve him.

At this point, you can whatever you want. I'm sure that he is not looking to date you, so it shouldn't have to bother you whether he is too nice. I think you just don't like his personality and want somebody who tough and rigid because it turns you on. You're young. So your not going to think about what type of guy is right for you. Because right now you don't know who is. It doesn't make you bad, just naive until you end up wanting a guy to treat you nice and then complain if they don't notice you or date you. But if you don't want to pursue him, it's your choice, but deal with it if he ends up dating somebody else. And you end up with somebody who treats you like the poop that comes out your backside.

Overall, maybe this is just who he is as a person and he's like this to everybody. But you don't have to date him. A crush is just a crush until you do something about it. It's not important if it isn't to you.

Of course! But I say this for everybody at any age if all their minds on petty and superficial stuff. They're not wrong for thinking that if their personalities doesn't fit, and they not interested in working it out. All I'm justing saying is for her to make sure she isn't losing out on a great guy. Maybe she isn't the bubbly type, warm and receptive. She will just have to set boundaries for the relationship concerning that if it's true. I'm sure that as long as he respects her desires and tone it down, he will happily abide by that. I don't mind when a person is really nice and want to please you. But the line has to be drawn somewhere at the end of the day, especially when as a male he needs to show that he can be a leader and not just nice.

Exactly! And by wise mothers, if there was no father in their lives. Today it's too many bitter men and women who teach and allow their kids to be just as bitter and using one another. To be honest it's something that parents are responsible for teaching their children. In the first schools, they taught you that, back when Bible's and God was in schools. Take them out, now we have a mess. They have so badly messed up the traditional ways that God had set for us, and now they're being sissy's regarding sex, love, etc. I had to learn this from God through the Bible and a few people throughout my life. And one thing I cannot stand is when people shut another down because they think differently than them. If I was interested in having children and getting married, I expect my children to know about this very early in life as I did.

@Asker I think that you should just give him a shot without writing him off. Try being his friend first and see where it goes. He is probably like this with everybody like I said. You never know until you get to him.

i may not be one, but i can definitely get the blue anons' struggles and the whole broken girls thing. i had women loving when i degraded them or were violent. it can be fun for a while but its certainly not healthy.

it has to do with how much love they got as kids and what they shaped in their head as "normal" treatment towards them. i knew a hot blonde that would get all giggly when i insulted her, and she always took it in a teasing way, but when i were genuinely kind she was appalled.

You know what, good for you. This is the way the world works, and you're learning this young. When guys are too nice then they will always be friend zoned, or the girl gets bored. You're not weird, you're not a bad person. This guy needs to learn how to be a man and value his time just as much if not more than yours. When a dude is overly nice it's a sign of no confidence. You are no different than other women. It's not good, or bad. It's just the way the world is and you're clearly attracted to a stronger personality. He needs to hear this. He needs to hear that he's being kind of a sissy so he can learn some confidence. It seams mean but teaching a boy how to be a man isn't your job.
