My (16F) crush (16M) used to give a lot of were "clear signs" he liked me (according to several people) and I corresponded so I was expecting he would ask me out sometime. Until today when he made fun of his friend saying he was in love with a girl from the morning period and his friend said he was in love with another girl from the morning period (who, according to rumors, said he was cute) which he denied.
Later, he said something like "don't you have something to tell the class?" to his other friend (I didn't get the context but it was obvious it was a love life relate thing) and as far as I'm concerned and how people in class have been acting, it's about me. Wouldn't he be jealous if he knew someone else liked his crush instead of not caring at all? I know I would and was. I'm so confused. Can I safely assume he simply stopped liking me for whatever reason? Or didn't like me that much from the beggining?

I know the "rumors" are about me because it was already implied before by other people but I ignored. Today, everyone, even my friends started whispering around and pointing at me even and no one would tell me what they were talking about... Some said "you'll find out on your own" and stuff like that.
