My crush is ignoring me so hard but I didn't do anything... why would he do that?

there was a time my crush really liked me back but because I'm shy and he is too we never really got in touch, only talked once, and mainly only glanced at each other a lot and smiled. I have the feeling that I may have been coming across as not interested enough in him bc of my shyness because from one day to another he suddenly started to ignore me and in the beginning it was only for a day or less and then he showed his interest in me again but now it got even worse. for about 2 months now he's been ignoring me ssm, always avoiding eye contact, never giving me any attention (glances, smiles) only like super SUPER quick glances and only like two times a day? but not even "regularly"... I feel sad but annoyed and pissed off at the same time because he really seemed to like me but now he is acting as if I didn't exist and I didn't even do anything. I'm so frantic, help me😣😔

This is so funny i am in a very similar situation and too am incredibly shy! Firstly, do't beat yourself p about your shyness its part of who you are and shouldn't try to change it for anyone. I think he is shy as well even if it doesn't appear that way! Try adding him on Facebook or something? If it is meant to be something will come about :) If you initiated the interest it could be that he was playing on it and got bored (lets hope that isn't the case). You know, I just can't believe that he still likes me because he really changed. Also, I added him on instagram but he didn't follow me back which makes me doubt that he likes me even more. But no, I actually wasn't the one initiating to show interest. He caught my eye bc he is really pretty and then I noticed him staring and looking at me a lot and then I couldn't do anything else than do it too 😅🙈 so, actually I would say he was the one initiating.

i DID show interest like looking at him, greeting him, i even texted him and offered help with some school stuff, i smiled etc. but i can't do anything about it when i'm not the confident kinda girl that straightforward approaches the guy she likes so I don't know i thought he'd get that i'm shy
