There is this guy in high school whom I knew (not personally I just had a project with him in previous years). I was talking to my guy friend and I noticed him staring at me. That was the first time I saw him doing this.
I told my friend saying that I think he stares at me and told her to confirm and keep an eye on him to see whether he does stare or not. Well long story short, my friend told that he stares at me a lot in lunch breaks everyday. He is a pretty popular boy so that made me happy too. My other friends also started noticing him doing this and me too. After some time, he started to roam around my classes a lot and glanced at me when we passed the hallways. He intentionally crossed my ways and randomly stood in my ways.
I am not a shy girl and am very confident. Some boys have crush on me and there have been a lot of defamation in the 8 standard for me and my friends saying that we are cheap as we use much slangs and stuff like that. Then I found out he had a girlfriend and that pissed me off. I told one of my friends to DM him on insta ( cause I am not on insta) saying that one of my closest friends is saying that donot stare at her, you have a girlfriend ( keeping my identity unrevealed). well he replied saying that Who is the girl and I don't like any girl and completely rejected this. Well then he stopped staring at me for a week or so and then again continued but this time, his friends used to stare too. His girlfriend also started staring at me and his girlfriend's friends.
One of my friends again had a fight with him and his friends about the staring stuff ( again my identity was unrevealed) but this time, it was bad. My friend who fought and I was defamed on school because of a confession page. Some of my friends think that it was him while others say that it could be her girlfriend. Well he is not staring at me now but still somedays, he would pass by my class and stare. what to do?

He and his friends would pass my by class and his friends would stare at me completely. My friends say that you are being too Naive buy thinking that he doesn't like you, it is obvious by the way he looks that he likes me. One of my friends also overheard their conversation once where she heard my name. His friends stare at me a lot as well and try to hear my conversations. His friends and he himself will delibrately walk past me and when I walk past them, his friends will start laughing.

well now he ignores me and intentionally avoids eye contact with me but still on somedays, would randomly try to get my attention. I am completely confused,
