I think this is a bad move. It is hard to move on to new relationships if you keep connections active with old ones. Not only that, but your new SO will not like you remaining friends and hanging out with an ex. I think you have enough other friends you could go with.

I am sure you also have a favorite movie, favorite restaurant, favorite vacation destination too. That doesn't mean he is the only one to go with you there too. Just think about the future and when he or you start to become interested in someone else and they find out you still hang out with your ex. Most people stay away from that drama and become uninterested in dating or will certainly have a problem with it. Best to cut ties now before complications set in.
