Everytime I go to correct this one kid's notebook or a notebook of a kid who sits next to him, there is a dick drawn on it. It's a high school geometry class so sometimes he uses the rulers and different tools to make them and sometimes freehand. I used to teach art.

I've been noticing the artwork drawn in the notebooks of the geometry notes of my friend's students this year since I myself am an artist and used to teach art myself. I help him correct as well. I've seen students applying themselves with their math, some who just don't get it, and them some who excel at both art and math. Then there's this one boy this year, who really isn't applying himself with math and is obseesed with drawing dicks. My friend says he is a jerky kid in class too:"Prickasso"

@peachblossomluck I went to a comprehensive school where when it came to reading out in lessons only 4 of us were chosen (I'm not boasting, standards were so low that Blind kids with a beginners grasp in braille would of been next in line). The problem was that every page in every text book seemed to have a picture of oversized genatalia and to make it worse any word which may be even slighty connected with sex (usually come ((cum)) was met with huge laughter. How I got through those lessons and reading to the rest of the stories I'll never know!

When I was in public school, people used to draw dirty pics in books ALL the time! Have you seen that episode of Seinfeld with the library cop and he goes to Jerry's house? Jerry and George I guess checked out a Henry Miller book way back in middle school and it had been missing and people loved to draw dirty pictures like dicks in those types of books. Those types of books sort of lend themselves to that kind of illustration but still LOLOL! It was freakin hilarious. Try to google it if you haven't seen it. I'd try to get it on here but I'm on my phone.

I would believe because they think it's super funny when they're at that age. I admit I used to do it too, well into my early twenties. In my group of friends, both guys and girls, we would take the opportunity to pull out the sharpie and draw dicks on each others faces when one of us was deeply asleep... believe me it's a lot funnier once they wake up. guys used to do that in middle school and highschool. i always found it suspect as well. women in my school never drew dicks or vaginas and laughed about it, which is why i always found it weird. guys seemed more fascinated about dicks, slapping each others asses, and "wrestling" getting really close to each other. thats why i don't believe many men are straight like they say they are; too many weird shit.

honestly, teachers have grown more tolerant with that stuff. the amount of times they've heard me curse is immeasurable, although they were all accidental. as long as his work is still good there isn't much to worry about. drawings of dicks are everywhere in schools from desks, textbooks and assignments. it's a pretty normal thing now

Here's an update: I found out that my friend tried to speak with his parents but they refuse to meet with the teacher about it for whatever reason. They don't want to address the issue. (Parents) and the principal can't make them just based off the dick drawings so my friend had to drop it. He said that there are a lot of parents who want to ignore their children's behaviors or are too embarrassed to face their educators.
