My married friend suddenly stopped talking to me after he confessed his feelings. Help?

We are very food friends and get along well. We do have a good "friend" chemistry. He says he is happily married. Just over a month he admitted he can't stop thinking about me and that he has feelings for me. I suspected he had feelings but I ignored it assuming it's all in my head. I simply told him this isn't right for your wife and it's unfair and that it should stop. He seemed he was understanding. However, the next morning he was very different towards me and his morning greetings became cold. Now, we haven't spoked to each other since the day he confessed. Of course, I miss him as a friend.

Can someone explain. Is he hurt? Does he never want to speak to me? Should I ask him what's wrong? I don't know what to do.

The thing that you understand he has feelings for you and its wrong as he is married. So now he has to keep himself away from you so his feeling can settled down in the water and he can stay local to his family or else his feeling for you will ruin everything. He is taking a good decision but its tough and hardest decision. So support him and keep stone on your heart and move on

I would say no.. let him approach you. If he says he is fine with being friends, happy... if he doesn't approach... that means the most probable explanation is he couldn't get over you or he really wants to get out of his marriage and is looking for some reason. trust me you wouldn't want to be that reason.

lol... then is completely depends on you... take some time (a month or so) and ask him if he is fine with this friendship thing. his response will tell you what to do... if he is reluctant to stay as friends then you have to cut ties with him unless you are interested in him too... is that the case?
